What is the Tiger Express program?

Tiger Express is a declining balance account you can deposit into at anytime. Once funded, simply swipe your DePauw University ID as a means of payment at participating loca tions both on and off-campus! There’s no need for cash or credit, just use Tiger Express!

What is the difference between the Meal Plan account and the Tiger Express account?

The Meal Plan account is activated when a student has a Resident or Commuter meal plan and can be used on-campus at Dining Services only. Tiger Express can be used on and off-campus at participating locations. DPU Plus Dollars can be used at off-campus locations as well.

How can I add funds to my Tiger Express account?

Tiger Express Accounts may be opened at the ID/One Card Office with an initial deposit of $25.00. Once the account is established, deposits may be made in any amount desired. Online depositing coming soon!

Where can I use Tiger Express on campus?

You can continue to use Tiger Express on-campus for purchases at all three campus dining facilities, Cafe Roy, Cafe Allegro, Barnes & Noble Bookstore, copier machines, Residence Hall laundry facilities, and many vending locations on campus.

What happens if I lose my ID Card?

Lost or stolen ID cards should be reported immediately. Notify the Office of Public Safety, 658-4261. The office is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Replacement ID's are available from the ID/One Card Office, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The cost to replace a student ID is $10.00. The ID/One Card Office does not accept payment, all charges are applied to the student tuition account.

Can I get a refund of my Tiger Express?

Refunds may be made at the end of each semester, or upon withdrawal from the University by filing out a request for a refund in the ID/One Card Office. Printed statements detailing account activity are available upon request from the ID/One Card Office.

Are there any restrictions on what I can buy with Tiger Express?

Yes, you may not purchase alcohol or tobacco products using Tiger Express, no exceptions for those over 21 in age.
